We’ve curated our favorite fireplaces from our previous projects to inspire you. Whether you’re aiming to bring a new hearth into your home or simply looking for ideas to upgrade your existing fireplace, this roundup of real-life designs is for you!
Urban Farmhouse White Brick & Cast Stone Surround Fireplace
Up first, we love this recently completed Urban Farmhouse great room fireplace. The vaulted ceilings in this great room allow for a two-story floor-to-ceiling 50-inch fireplace detailed with painted white brick and a cast stone surround. We also love the symmetrical look of the custom white oak built-ins parallel to the fireplace. They are the perfect shelving display for those favorite art pieces, books, and frames; while the lower cabinetry provides ample opportunity for storage and hidden items below.
Modern Minnetonka Walnut Fireplace
This great room's linear fireplace calls all of our attention! Faced with rich walnut paneling and is flanked by symmetrical and matching walnut floating shelves. The storage cabinets below are painted “Railings” by Farrow & Ball. We love the details of the “Gold Clemente” wall sconces that spotlight family pictures and their whimsical art pieces.
Transitional Cool-Toned Asymmetrical Fireplace
The asymmetrical look of this cool-toned custom stonework fireplace is bringing all of the texture and warmth to this open-concept space. Instead of opting for storage, these owners added a custom bench and mantel shelving. The unique look of this fireplace could be the perfect fit for your space!
Modern European White Oak Asymmetrical Fireplace
This is another asymmetrical design look that we love! Walking into the Modern European Rambler the fireplace is front and center. The warm Heat n Glo True 42” fireplace with custom stonework and cast surround is so inviting, you'll want to sit and stay awhile. A special detail here is the cast stone surround on this fireplace. It was hand-painted to match the hood range in the kitchen! We also love the distressed wood beams that span the great room ceiling, giving this transitional home a warm and cozy vibe.
Modern Prairie Limestone Fireplace
If you're looking for a modern and luxurious design this is the fireplace for you! A custom, asymmetrical entertainment unit, uniquely frames the TV while the opposing side hosts a bench unit. We love the detailing of this great room including the rift white oak drop-down ceiling soffit in addition to the limestone fireplace and white oak wood flooring. These details combine to add warmth and texture to the modern open-space design in this great room and throughout the entire home.
Three-Season Porch Fireplaces
Get the most use out of your three-season porch by adding a fireplace! The custom stonework and distressed wood ceiling contrast the modern black windows and the board and batten walls. The windows of this porch are unique as they consist of tempered glass that can slide open from the middle, dropping in screens to bring in the fresh air. This is the perfect screened porch for lounging and it gives us all the cozy relaxing vibes.
Double-Sided Fireplace for Sunroom & Three-Season Porch
Why have your fireplace in one room, when it can be in two?! This double-sided fireplace sits in between a sunroom and three-season porch. A brilliant idea for a floor plan with a layout like this.
Three-sided See-through Cool Touch Lower Level Fireplace
This captivating cool-touch, three-sided fireplace in the lower level of the Urban Farmhouse home features big bold flames, chromotherapy LED lighting, double-pane glass, and proprietary cooling for cool safe touching. Add on a selection of custom stonework and you're sure to have a show stopper in your lower level!
Outdoor Fireplace
Last but not least, this fireplace is a backyard entertainer’s must! We love that our homeowners prioritized their exterior setting with a fireplace that can entertain all year round!
